science fair project?

im doing a science fair project to see what brand battery maintains its voltage for the longest period of time. but i dont know what my control, variable, and constant would be? i really need your help!

Control - I believe that means you have to try several of the same battery...not just go on 1 of each.

Variable - The different battery brands that you would use.

Constant - you would have to use the battiries in the same thing because you would want something that pulled the same volts for each time you tried the project.
