At this point in your period your hormone levels are designed to make her seek out a man to mate with. You basically have just shed the old uterine lining and your body is now entering a new fertility cycle. The reason why you are not dreaming about your boyfriend is because genetically speaking women do not want their partner to sire all their children. A woman's DNA will be better spread amongst several fathers and this is what your hormones are telling you. You love your boyfriend a lot and obviously you are not acting on your dreams.
Also on different phases of her period women find different kinds of men attractive. Ideally, genetically speaking, a woman wants her children sired by big manly men but raised by a caring stable man who is not actually their father but believes he is. This may seem harsh but it is how a woman is genetically designed to be.
Female humans are not designed genetically to be monogamous because of the size of a man's scrotum and testes. A male gorilla has a tiny pair of balls, he does not need big ones as he can mate often and one gorilla will not touch another gorilla's females (the alpha male is too strong and alter to risk illicit sex with his harem!). A male bonobo chimp has a huge pair of knackers because the females mate with any male they see and for a male to have any chance of fathering baby chimps he has to spurt out lots and lots of sperm.
A human man has, for a primate, a large scrotum which shows that female humans are not genetically designed to be monogamous and so each male has to put in quiet a lot of sperm to allow a better chance of conception.
So now I have explained the horrible biology of it basically your dreams are because your hormones want you to sleep around because that is what human women are designed to do - stay with one guy most of their life but get some sperm from other men when they are fertile. It does not say anything about your personality or morals, it is simply genetics at work.
The human body is a fascinating thing!

It's really simple it our hormones. Our hormones change during our cycle. And for some strange reason we get extra excited during that time of the month

I agree with all the other ladies. We have ups, we have downs *in our hormones* and when we have downs, we usually feel run down, bloated, and all around downright UNNATTRACTIVE!! But usually towards the end of our cycle, we start feeling better!! Good Luck ^_^ p.s. it's not your fault!! you can't control your dreams!!!
