For english class i need to write a 2-3 page paper on 2-3 differences between the book and the movie and how they impacted each. For one difference i said tht the move did a better job of showing Scout's innocense when her talking to Mr. Cunningham made him turn back the lynch mob because the movie made her seem much younger than the book did(i still need to add more to that one). Could you please provide me with some big differences and how they impacted them? (Cannot be the absence of Aunt Alexandra)

One big difference is that the film left out the entire scene with Jem reading to Mrs. Dubose. In the novel, Atticus made Jem watch Mrs. Dubose so that he could learn about what true courage was "...courage isn't just a man with a gun, it's knowing you are licked before you begin, but you begin anyways, and see it through no matter what". this is key to the one of the central themes os the novel, but this theme isn't addressed anywhere near a s strongly in the film.
This focuses the attention more on the theme of empathy rather than bravery.

Try using the part about the night scout and jem walked home after the play and were attacked. When i read the book, the confusion that the author was trying to convey just confused me and i didnt understand that part of the book. But after seeing to movie, it made sense and i saw what was intended. It was dark, scary and confusing and that was easier to understand on film that it was trying to be conveyed in literature.

and another idea is to talk about dill's character. When i read the book, i considered dill to be a very minor character. He didnt seem important but in the movie, the actor was able to give him such an enjoyable personality. He was now likeable and funny.

examining the e book takes longer whilst watching the movie takes approximately 2 hours. you may in basic terms see words whilst examining the e book while you will see that shifting photographs whilst watching the movie. different than that, movie is a extraordinarily close version of the e book.
