My daughter is doing a project for school. She wants to make a model for the solar system. She hardly doesn't know what object to use as planets. Please help, she cries eveytime trying to figure something out so she can get an A+!

Maybe she could use socks. Be easy on the kid. She doesn't need an A+, she needs to do the work for herself.

I'd prefer if my kid got a D with his own work than an A+ for someone else's.

For the planets, she could use little foam balls at craft stores, and paint them the colors of the planets. That would only work though if you bought different sized balls.

Using clay might be a better idea though because you can shape the pieces into any size you want and paint them yourself. That would be fun and educational in my opinion.

Well, I hope I helped you! Good luck to your daughter!

use Styrofoam balls/cones for the planets.
the solar system is in her science book, it will show her what it looks like and give her ideas.
