My dream is to live someplace in Europe. One place that I would love to live is England. How is life there? How much money would an avg person earn? What would you get paid if you were working in the medical field such as nurse, ect. ?

England isn't all it's cracked up to be. A lot of it is media and government hype. Huge numbers of people move here and a lot of them promptly leave again because it failed to live up to expectations.

The average UK wage is £24,000 ($48,000) a year but we pay a lot of tax - in all it's forms nearly half a person's wages. A nurse's wage would start at about £18,000 at entry level but with a specialist skill, overtime etc could be about £30,000 (estimated figures). Nursing in the UK is hard work and what they get paid isn't an accurate reflection of the amount of work they do.

In recent years it's become extremely politically correct - Christmas is all but banned in public places, 'church' is considered an offensive word (use 'place of worship' instead). Crime is out of control, criminals walk free (literally - the jails are full so they're released, even paedophiles don't get sent to jail).

By international standards England is in freefall - in terms of prosperity, healthcare, education etc we're plummeting down the league tables. We're doing very well in the league tables of crime, delinquency, diseases etc.

You have to ask why record numbers of English people are moving abroad. Historicially the number one reason was to move to somewhere with a better climate; last year the top reason was to escape the shambolic state of the country.

Don't get me wrong - it's still a nice place to live and is (in my opinion) one of the better places, but it falls far short of it's reputation. Personally I'd consider Scotland or Ireland in preference to England and if you're considering mainland Europe then the Scandanavian countries, France and Germany all have higher living stanrards than England.

Actually, it's spelled etc., not ect.

As for what life is like living in England, I wouldn't know. But I wouldn't mind living there myself! Although I'd prefer Scotland even more. :)
