She wont let me dirty her carpet

She is most probably fed up with you not wiping your feet.
Can I suggest that you get a broom & keep the back passage clean & she might let you use the front door in the future.
Are her friends able to use the front door?

Tell her the back door is dry for a reason. If she wants you round the back, you need to come through the front door on a regular basis.

Get yourself a large rug, wipe your feet and /or leave your shoes by the front door, don't forget to suggest to the Mrs though , you don't want her to completely lock you out do you ?

Just wipe your feet first before entering her back passage. I'm sure she's provided you with a rug for those purposes.
