you own basic needs? For example cooking, cleaning, laundry, getting up and ready for school?
Or did Mom/Dad do everything for you.

Did this help or hinder you?

It helps..My older sister... My parents weren't around at all. My grandma didn't do it for us, she taught us how. My older sister was great at taking care of us.
Thanks Sis (even though you are a Pittsburg fan) I love you

My mom/grandma takes care of my financial needs...
But I did my own laundry, cleaning, cooking up to now (im only 16)....There are times when I am mad, because they should be taking care of me, but at the same time I think its for my own good. SO if ever i move out i can take care of myself.

Combo. I was taught to do all those things, but my mom pretty much took care of it all for me. I think of it as the best of both worlds-- I didn't have to scrounge the internet to figure out how to live on my own, but I didn't have to spend half my time as a child working. :)

Both - we had chores, but we weren't responsible for it 7/24/365.....Mom did teach me how to cook, but I wasn't responsible for it all the time.

We got ourselves up and ready for school....

Nowadays - I think kids should get a lot more responsibility!!!
