I don't know that it means anything. All I know is that Flicka was a mare in a movie called, "My Friend Flicka," which was released in 1943 and starred Roddy McDowall and Preston Foster; and that Flicka had a foal named Thunderhead, a beautiful albino colt that was featured in a sequel called, "Thunderhead -- Son of Flicka," which was released in 1945 and starred the same actors. Both movies were very popular.

Flicka is a 2006 film based on the 1941 children's novel My Friend Flicka by Mary O'Hara. The film is directed by Michael Mayer. A previous adaptation, directed by Harold D. Schuster, was released in 1943.
