A good series is the Inspector Lynley mysteries, lots of English accents and Scotland Yard. They are by Elizabeth George and can be a little long, but I really liked them. If you like humorous stories, you could try the Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich, very funny. I always laugh out loud reading them. Gosh there so many good ones out there, these are just two of my all time faves.
