There is no definite temperature for when you are ovulating! You should just know that your temperature goes up when you ovulate! It should go up around .4 - .7 degrees when you ovulate! It should stay elevated until you start your period again...then it will go down! If you become pregnant then your temp. will stay up and not go down until after you have the baby! Also if you get pregnant, your temperature could start showing a tri-phasic pattern! That just simply means you will start to see your temperature rise even further than when it did when you ovulated! Get the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler! It's an awesome book and is really informative! It will answer all your questions about ovulation, BBT, and your CM! Hope that helps...

I just read that you should keep track of your temp on a daily basis because it should only go up about 0.4 to 1 degrees during ovulation. It will get higher after ovulation , this is just a sign that the ovulation phase is over. This is a great method to use if you have time to check temp every day. See americanpregnancy.org for other options. Good Luck!!!!!!!!

It does vary from woman to woman. For me, my temps before ovulating were all between 97.2 and 98.1 (they were pretty erratic, but averaged around 97.6 or so) and after ovulating they stayed at either 98.3 or 98.4 (much more consistent). But I have no idea if that is normal or not.
