It will shrink them. Make sure you launder them in cold water and that will prevent them from shrinking some. Also, you could put them in the dryer on low for a few minutes with a dry towel or two and then hang them to dry, but I would be careful of doing that. At least that would cut your drying time. The dry towel will make them dry quicker, but I wouldn't let them dry completely in the dryer.

They'll shrink. Why don't you just buy a garment rack and use it for drying your clothes. I do it all the time. You can hang almost a whole load on them. They dry in about a day or 2. No biggie. They cost around $15 at walmart. And you can take them apart if you don't want it there. Easy too. Hope this helps.

This is what happens. A friend of mine was moving interstate and as he was riding his motorbike he had thermal long johns to keep him warm during the trip. I thought I'd do him a favour and wash and dry them for him. He is a huge man around 6 foot six and built like a wrestler. Being a complete nitwit I put them into the drier so they'd be ready for his trip in the morning. When he got them out of the drier they were TINY a five year old would have had trouble squeezing into them. He wasn't happy. Nowadays 20 years later we wet ourselves with laughter whenever we bring it up, it's really funny but at the time it wasn't. DO NOT PUT COTTON OR WOOL INTO A HOT CLOTHES DRYER.

They will more then likely shrink if they are 100% cotton, I'd stick with hanging them up so they won't shrink and they will keep there shape.

Cotton will shrink...to the point that your clothes will fit toddlers. Even if they don't shrink to the point of unwearable, they will definitely need to be ironed.

They may come out wrinkled, and maybe shrunk, depending upon how they were woven. Dry one on LOW heat and see
