what is hard about double neck? its not like people constantly switch back and forth most of the time. they just play one neck for one part of the song and the other neck for the other. and teeth is just kinda silly showmanship. i'm really not that impressed with either. I'm impressed if someone wears a double neck for an entire concert. those things are heavy. edit: comic book guy makes a good point. much depends on the kind of double neck. there are a lot more than 2 kinds though. a sitar-guitar is more impressive than a guitar-guitar or a guitar-12 string. i would be impressed to see someone play a sitar-mandolin double neck.

The thing to keep in mind is that thin neck guitars' strings are closer together. If you play melody with your fingers (rather than chords, or melody with a pick) you may find a thin neck guitar annoying, or at least quite challenging.

So whether a thin-neck guitar will work for you depends on what you are trying to play - and how thick your finger are.

Some of the Fenders and PRS have a smaller neck, I like the way mine feels,Just go down to the local music store and try out a bunch of them and see what one feels best, and take your time and play with it for a few min each to try to get a feel on how it will feel for a longer period of time playing and don't let a salesperson rush or pressure you into buying something your not comfortable playing.

Jackson SL-3

Best guitar I've owned in 25 years (I found my thrill). Guitar Center RULES (did internet price match and decent trade deal). Very well put together. If you've never played a neck-through Jackson, don't buy another ax until you try one. If you're after low action with killer tone Jackson neck-throughs RULE.
