Need help finding a 1920's/30's/40's song?

Question

I'm trying to find a song from 20s, 30s or 40s. It's sung by an American man, in a comedic style. It's about the evils of drink, the only definite lyric we know is the word "Temptation" and it may be sung by a character of a preacher. It may very well have been in a film. Vague enough for you?!

Any suggestions would be appreciated, it was a favourite song of my fiance's Grandfather, who passed away yesterday - we'd like to play it at a gathering after the funeral.

i thought maybe it was spike jones but couldn't find it. the only other thing i can think of is- ya got trouble- from the music man. sorry i couldn't be more help.
