Try a cream called quinoderm. It is the most effective over-the-counter acne treatment available.

My sister used to have terrible acne, with massive red infected spots all over her face. She tried loads of different treatments prescribed by her doctor including oral antibiotics and Dianette (a form of the contracepive pill which blocks the action of testosterone, known to exacerbate acne) however none of these approaches had much effect so she stopped using them.

About 8 months ago someone recommended quinoderm, a benzoyl peroxide based cream designed to treat acne. After a couple of weeks of treatment there was a noticable reduction in the number and size of her spots, and shortly after this she stopped getting any at all. Not a single spot. Ever.

Quinoderm works by creating an unsuitable environment for bacteria to live, as it is an oxidizing agent and the bacteria which cause acne, p.acnes, cannot survive in the presence of oxygen. It also has a mild peeling effect and helps to breakdown comedones (combination of sebum, dead skin cells etc which form when a pore becomes blocked. These are how blackheads/whiteheads form and they can become infected to form an inflamed pimple). Quinoderm also contains potassium hydroxyquinoline sulphate which is active against bacteria and fungi.

If you're still reading, please note that it can take up to two months to see the full results of quinoderm, but it is well worth persevering with the treatment. You may initially experience some stinging, redness and dryness upon application but these effects will diminish as your skin becomes accustomed to the cream.

The cream is available at most pharmacies and is available in concentrations of 5 and 10% benzoyl peroxide. It costs under £5 for a 50g tube. You have to ask the pharmacist for it at the counter.

Good luck, I hope it helps you.

well the best thing to do is not use a concealer at this point.
i know it's hard not to try to cover them up but thats the worst thing you can do.
the oil base in your foundation just clogs up the infected area (pimple) and makes it even worse, believe me i've learned it the hard way. hah.

anyway:
everynight before i go to sleep i wash my face with clean and clear antibacterial face wash, it kills bacteria and prevents pimples from forming.

then:
after you wash your face use a some kind of overnight pimple cream. i use clean and clear persa gel it's pretty cheap around $4.00 at a walgreens or walmart or something, anyway while you're sleeping it will dry up the pimples, when you wake up in the morning just wash your face again with the face wash.

if you're face would get dry because of the cleanser just use a common mostiurizer, Dove make a really nice mostiurizer or even Noxzema cream can refresh your face and prevent the dryness. I highly recommend Clean and Clear products, they work great for me.

don't worry about a few zits, they'll clear up fast.
I hope i was of some help.
Good Luck!!

Well you should start out by putting zit cream and exfoliating every night and before it goes away cover it up with a cover up cream so it looks like you don't have a zit at all.

Go see a dermatologist, and he/she will be able to assess your current situation and give you a product. A dermatologist can also pop the pimples without harming your skin.

you may be eating alot of sweets.this usually makes me cause them.also you may be just PMSing.
first off, you ned to wash your face everyday twice (more depending on amount of pimples) with multiple producs.noxema really worked for me, so firstoff you want something with those coarse beads, they get rid of blackheads and clean deep inside the pores. then you want something with silicilic acid, like clearacil is great. then something like a spot treatment, neutrogena clean and clear woks good.
sea breeze is like magic.its a cleansing astrigent, but it dries your pimples. so you wash, then put seabreeze then your cream on top of whihc i would put spot treatment.
(:

Kiehl's makes very good cleansers/toners/spot treatment for oily/acne prone skin. But, if you are a teenager, it should help to know that pretty much everyone is going through the same thing.

Drink more water. Any products you use will just clog your pores allowing the bacteria to grow inside.

Use either proactive or benzoyl peroxide-Ive used benzoyl peroxide and it goes away quickly..but if you just want the redness to go away use rubbing alcohol..but if you dont have any of that use toothpaste sounds crazy but it works!
