I need an aim for this routine. Please help. I can't think of an aim focusing only on this routine.

Thanx.

Its a school routine of children between the age range of 6-7 yrs. I need an aim for the P.E and dressing routine.

Why do they have the P.E and dressing routine?

Why do they need it?

I'm sorry but 'duind' is a mistake and was supposed to be 'during'.

Do you mean the routine that children have in order to get them changed into PE kit and back into uniform afterwards?

It can be chaotic trying to get an entire class ready for PE, so a little order is useful. You need to think about;
1. Where is their kit kept and how will they get it? Form an orderly line, one table at a time etc. The point is to keep the children safe, organised, and to prevent accidents when the kids may be highly excited. Also, you need to get them changed as quickly as possible or there'll be no time for the lesson.
2. What to do with their uniforms - fold neatly and put on their chairs etc or it will be mayhem when little Mary is wearing Little Peter's sweatshirt etc. The point is to make the change back into uniform as smooth and efficient as possible so as to not move into the next lesson slot.
3. Health and Safety - check for earrings, watches etc - usually teachers have a tin/lock up box to put valuables in for safe keeping. A note: You are not allowed to remove or replace earrings for children! Check pumps are on properly - if no pumps they go barefoot indoors, or have to sit out and do work if the lesson is outside (can't do PE in shoes).
Also, you have to dress properly for PE too - with trainers and a tracksuit - so get changed in the break before the lesson if necessary.

If the children know exactly what to do before, during and after PE lessons (kit, getting dressed, putting things away again - including PE equipment in the gym/yard) then you'll lose less time getting organised and have more teaching time.

Hope that gets you started :)
