Ok. I created my own player and made him a receiver. But I don't like the way it is set up at all. I can't choose my plays and I can't choose when to go on a 4th down. I can't even challenge plays. Is there anything I can do to change that? I think I'm playing in Superstar mode (if that helps).

I think you are playing the game's new Hall of Fame mode, which puts you into the position of a player, not the coach. In the exhibition part of the game, you call the plays and execute them. In this mode, you only control one player, and its your job to run routes and catch the ball at the appropriate time. In my opinion, it is much better when not playing in Hall of Fame mode or Superstar mode, for that matter. Anyway, have fun, its a great game.
