the name for what you have is Melina. in simple terms black poo. the blackness comes from dried blood. this sugests that somwhere in you digestive system you have a bleed. it is not from your colon as if it was the blood would appear red. the most likely thing as othe people have sugested is a stomach ulcer. treatment for this is easy enough. gut protectants and possible some antinflammatories, however it an be caused by many things so GET TO YOUR DOCTOR. hope this helps put you mind at rest.
