Am I the only one to see Don Juan DeMarco and The Brave?
Don Juan is available thru Amazon. It is truly a romantic movie.
The Brave is the film that he directed in, starred in, and co-wrote the screenplay. It is not available in the US. You will have to search eBay for a Canadian copy - as it is the only country who shares the same DVD Region code. It was received very well at Cannes by everyone but the prudish and squemish critics. That is why it has never been released in the US. It is VERY good, but very graphic. It deals with the making of snuff films.
Both films have Johnny working along side his late friend Marlon Brando. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOTH!

Try Edward Scissorhands, a superb Tim Burton fantasy movie. There is no explaining the plot.

The Pirates series would be my favorite. 2nd would be The Ninth Gate.
If he does a good of a job as I think he will, Rex Mundi might take my personal top slot... as of now he's slated to produce and star in it. Hopefully that comes to pass.

Either Sleepy Hollow or Once Upon a Time in Mexico - I loved his character in that movie.

Ed Wood. Playing the worst director in Hollywood history put him on the map. He was funny and charming and loveable in that one.
