whats ur favorite fresh water community fish? Id like to know because i cant decide wat fish to get. It doesnt matter if they dont work with my current ones because ill research that myself, i just want some names. Maybe ur top 3 or 5 if u feel like it!

My favorite fish are
#1. Bettas
( have 4 Tad, Cyan, Anya aka Anastasia, and Demetre)
#2. Corydoras Catfish
( have 5- two peppered, Isabelle and Isadora, three bronze, Anabelle, Andy, and Andrew )
#3. Platies
( have 5- Amber, Sunny, Miles, Artemis, and Atlanta)
#4. Clown Loaches
#5. Columbian Sharks also known as Black-tipped Shark Catfish

killifish are really personable -- they are kind of expensive and you can't get them at your average pet shop.
sparkling gouramies are a good choice too.
for schools try rasboras -- hengeli are my fave and a lot livelier than most schoolers.
cory catfish are great in groups. they will all stick around one little spot eating until one decides to go to another spot and then they all go there.
amano shrimp are best of algae duty -- i don't know why people don't do more shrimp
dwarf puffers are my last suggestion.
everything on my list is very good for communities -- non aggressive personable and often inquisitive -- very high in entertianment value.

I have owned and loved tropical fish for many years now! And I love guppies! They are so beautiful and are easy to breed! I love to watch them eat and swim because they are very active and have amazing colors! I would recommend that if you love bright and beautiful colors or just love calm and active fish i would get guppies!

Blood parrot chilchid ^.^ I've had Packer for 7 years now, unfortuantely my aunt killed her mate two years ago :(
Also, silver dollars, Pacu(they get HUGE and have good personalities, but nip on fins constantly), upside down catfish, and..... and..... banjo catfish. Boring creatures, but pretty to look at. lol

Midas cichlids- who need very large tanks, 125 gallons per pair
Goldfish- who also need large tanks
Cherry barbs- not good in communities

2.Angle fish-Prissy,grace,mini
3.Gold fish-goldy,puffer,golden strike
Those are my top three favorite fish and names for each of the fish i think the names are pretty cool hope i helped you out!!

try keeping wild fish like a largemouth bass or a crappie. if not get a pirahna or a beta.
