In theory, yes they could, but in practice the only ones I've heard of are people who are drugged. Particular drugs will make someone do exactly what they're told because they just don't care about anything. They would sit and do nothing all day while staring at their toes if you didn't tell them to eat. In theory, if a virus were genetically modified to secrete those chemicals, in the right dose to make the people act like a zombie but still be active enough to find food and shelter, then it would, in extremely unlikely theory, be possible. But I very much doubt that anyone would want to make such a virus, and the dose of chemicals would be very hard to control. Most people would probably either get so little they still think, or so much that they literally starve to death while staring at their toes because nobody told them to eat. You're safe from zombie attack.

in many cultures there exixt myths and legends, the zombies you speak of, the ones who eat your flesh and whatnot..smiles..arent what you think..." zombies" are quite well known in the islands, and the secrect to making someone a zombie remains a very guarded secrect hence to the question about murder....i would strongly advise aganist making somebody mad who knows the secrects of the " walking dead" good luck
