k ... my grades are slipping a little and my g.f thinks we should take a little brake so we can pull our grades up.... what does that mean she wants to brake up for good? and what does take a little brake meen like dont see each other for a little?

she just wants you do the best at school. My boyfriend and I did the same thing so that we could het our grades up and now we're stronger then ever.. so you've got nothing to worry about ;)

Honey, if your spelling is any indication of your grades, I have to agree with your girlfriend. At this time in your life, school is much more important than dating, maybe the stuff you learn isn't that important, but your grades sure are. How well you do in a high school is not only an indication of how well you will do in the real world, but it will also open up more opportunities in the future.
I say take the break and if you are still interested in her, just see her socially,w ith friends. Because you are both still going to want to have fun and you can still do taht. But maybe 4 hour phone conversations every night mean neither of you get enough sleep and you don't finish your homework. She is smart in thinking that your grades are slipping if these are the types of things you are doing in this relationship.

Spell check, sweetie. We ALL aren't perfect, I know, cause I spell things wrong all the time. Anyways, I think this is a very good idea. If your grades are slipping because of the relationship, then you 2 need time to bring them up. It doesn't mean that she wants it to be over, but she wants some "time off" from the relationship, cause she thinks it will improve your grades. Be thankful that you have a girlfriend that cares enough about you to help you get your grades high again.

well if your girlfriend really truely cares about you enough to tell you that you need to get your grades up then thats good. if she wants a break from you then it might go deeper then just grades because there are other ways to get your grades up then taking a brake. at the same time taking a break might be the best thing for the both of you. i took a break with my boyfriend one time for like a day then we were over it and wanted to be together, but the reason that he wanted to take a break was cause he wanted me to think about if i really wanted to be with him or not. i personally think that taking a break over grades might not be the full truth maybe she is thinking if she wants to be with you or maybe she just needs some space
for me being on a break means that you want time away from someone to think about things you should not hook up with anyone or anything

It means her parents told her to get her grades up and she's not to associate herself with other dumb people or she in return will become dumb. So you should get better grades then her and show her parents that your the boss and that their daughter is too stupid to hang with you. Then when your working for a Fortune 500 company you can send them a little gift in the mail and thatnk them for interferring in your life and that it was the best thing they could have ever done for you. Then ask what their daughter is up to. They will probably say oh she's pregnant again and she's not working.

what she means is we are over, but I don't want to sit and listen to you cry when I tell you, so she is letting you down easy, or it could mean I met another guy and I'm not sure if I really like him or not, so during your little break she get to know him, and if she likes him, your little break becomes the rest of your life, either way buddy your out! but hey that means your free to move on too!! lots of girls out there looking for mister right but willing to s c r e w mister wrong along the way.

Based on the spelling, capitalization and punctuation, I agree that you need to spend more time studying. It is impossible to tell if she means just for now, or she is trying to break up permanently.
Adults, at least the intellegent ones, judge you partly on your use of the language. If you speak or write poorly, they will not respect your thoughts.

It means she thinks you are to caught up in each other to focus on your school work. SHe wants make sure she doesn't fail and she doesn't want you to fail either. so don't sweat it. give her a little time. she'll come around.

I think it's bull it's probably just an excuse to break up if she wanted to be with you, you guys could work together and try and help each other with your school work.
