Well, I know how you feel. When I was young I used to watch a lot of scary movies. And then, I'd be scared to death. The only way to really get over is to say to yourself, "The movie I just watched was not real, none of that really happens". And think about it too. Because you just watched a movie that was put together by people. It's not real, and the stuff will never happen. Or will it..... Just kidding. Anyway, if you rented a scary movie, look at the bloopers (if they have any). That should prove to you that the people in that movie are acting. And it might actually be funny. Or, you could watch another movie. I would suggest some funny ones like "Benchwarmers" and "Nacho Libre". That should get your mind off it. And if that doesn't work, try going on the computer and going to sites like disneychannel.com or nick.com or miniclip.com or postopia.com or clubpenguin.com (more at bottom). And if you still get scared, talk to a family member or friend. And if you still feel scared, don't watch scary movies again for a while. Hope I helped.

first of all......your avatar doesn't look 11 it looks 25 with the facial hair and all!! Second of all, what i do is watch tv again. Watch something positive and real life like nick at nite such as roseanne or fresh prince of bel air. That should take your mind off the scary movie. Watching disney cartoons helps too. And it it scares u that much try not watching scary movies before going to bed.....

If your a guy try watching it with a girl if your a girl try watching it with a guy you like and try talking about it after. That might work.
your 11 though so maybe just try talkin about it with a friend if you dont have a boyfriend/girlfriend
It might not calm you down to talk about the movie more but maybe. If not talk about something else.

If it's one of those movies that doesn't scare you when you're actually watching it, but you're jumping at the littlest thing afterwards, then it helps to find something funny in it. Laughter at stupid stuff helps break the tension. Don't be afraid to laugh at the headless dude who can't find his head.
Avoid Stephen King movies. Period. Most of them may be ancient, but they are still freaky.
If the commercial alone scares you, then don't see it.
And, if you know for a fact that the movie is scaring you, turn it off.

First of all, choose not to watch a scary movie. But if you decide to anyway, you could read afterwards. Read a light and funny fiction book. Also, you could pray and ask God to give you peace. Keep the lights on if you can - light tends to demystify the darkness.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of manure.
If they affect you so adversely, don't watch them in the first place.
