First of all, alexander, gladiator, etc. aren't fantasy, they are historical fiction. This just means the story was based off of historical fact. (keyword: based). And I know this has nothing to do with your question, but theres clearly a trend here. Peter jackson made the fellowship of the ring in 2001, and the two towers in 02. While FOTR didnt contain huge battle scenes except for a small one at the beginning, the TT did, and it had lots of them. Soon after, movies like alexander, troy, etc. have popped up, and they all have a similiarity which is they all contain a battle scenes which look almost identical to lord of the rings, and there is increased use of vocals in the soundtrack than in the past. These were all things that were first found in LOTR, or at least, first seen widely in LOTR. In fact, you could pretty much say Peter Jackson created the "fantasy action/historical action" genre, or at least, he brought it into the mainstream and truly defined the genre as we know it now. Ok now back to your question. As for fantasy action movies, I can name three: the lord of the rings trilogy. While they are not fantasy action per se, they contain action scenes within them (yes, even in the fellowship). Also, narnia is a fantasy action (but IMO, the movie really wasnt that good), and I guess harry potter is too, in some ways (not the movies in general, just some parts). anyways, hope this helps!
