i hav a best friend in a lower grade tht i would ttly d8 if he were older lol hes feelin down cuz he feels no1 in his grade likes him (trust me, his classmates hav told me how hes not exactly their favorite person). so now hes not talkin, and wrote down tht he wont talk till sum1 likes him, i tld him not to worry but i didnt really get the situation. so i ask my other friend, whos in his grade, wats goin on, she says he thinks no1 cares bout him, another guy i kno (who hates my 1st friends guts) says hes doin it 4 attention. i dunno wat to do! HELP ME!!!

sounds odd! not speaking for he thinks nobody cares about him? i think he likes you ( more than just a friend!) and he may want YOUR attention!
All you have to do is to convince him this is a stupid way of attracting attention( not by these words! tell him in an unstraight way ok?!) and inform him , he has already grown up enough not to do things like this! If he thinks nobody likes him , it's ok, he has to work hard to make others like him! he must like to be liked!

one of my best friends likes a guy 2 grades younger (really only 1 1/2 yrs younger)

Well for one if he's doing for attention he should grow up and realize that the world doesn't revolve around him and you need to talk to him and explain it to him that if he wants to make friends he should nice to be nice to everyone and communicate with others. But knnowing him he will make a big thing about it, because he's still a spoiled kid. SO talk to him and tell him he need to grow up.

Your a star in this sorry saga. a real soap here, Pitty Jerry Springer retired, cause it sounds like you and your pals would fit in well on that show and we all could have a good laugh and cringe a little. Grow up girl and talk to the boy and while your at it, slap your teacher for failing to do his or her job.

Well if he is doing this for attetion or no one really doesnt like him then you shouldnt leave him or stop being his friend. Just help him and dont listen to no one on this. Do what you feel right! And thats all I can tell you!

Sounds like he is doing it for attention... its rather pathetic actually. If you're really his friend, you will tell him how dumb it is and that he should just act normal whether other people like it or not.
