I'm not sure if ANYONE would actually know. In the House of Representatives, votes are cast electronically. More than one Representative will most likely be casting votes at the same precise moment. The only way one would know who actually cast the deciding vote would be if there was a tie, and some Representative walked in at the last moment and voted. You could go to the House of Representatives' website and find out how each representative voted.

I think you are mistaken about the vote count. Pelosi received 233 votes, and Rep. John A. Boehner, a Representative from Ohio, received 202 votes.

In reference to the previous answer, John Boehner was not a newly elected representative. He's been serving his Ohio district for many terms.
