I had a girlfriend who adopted a baby, and to avoid questions, she simulated pregnancy. So there are legal reasons.

No, that is lame if u are going to fake it @ least contact a birthing class coach and ask her about the empathy belly and maybe she'll let u try it cause it functions like a real pregnancy and w/symptoms as well.

There are people who actually do that and then try to steel babies from their mothers. Scary stuff!!
