It has been two weeks since my rat Belladonna has given birth to 10 babies.. only problem is i cannot tell wether they are male or female..

LOL. Good Luck. Rats are very hard to distinguish until they get a little older. The only thing I can tell you at this point is to search it on the internet and some sites have pictures of sexes at all ages. Look up "sexing baby rats" or something similar. But even trained eyes have a hard time until they are a month or 2 older. You might need to wait until they are a little older to be sure. I sexed my rat too early and named her Templeton thinking she was a male. We ended up keeping that name because I didn't have the heart to tell my 4 year old! lol.

That must've been a VERY BAD breeder if they gave you the rat (who does look 3 weeks or younger) at such a young age! They shouldn't even be separated from their mother yet! And the breeder couldn't even sex it for you? WOW. Way to support their idiocy!

I would think it would be difficult to tell that early, but in a few weeks the male rats will get very visible testicles.
