Never. My great grandma was 94 when she died, but they said a stroke killed her. Only problem was that the stroke happened 4 weeks before she died. I was in her room with her when she started smiling and told me that my great grandpa was coming to get her - in his horse drawn wagon! Before long, she drew her final breath and got in the wagon with him and went home.

Traditionally anyone over 65 was considered 'old', but with longevity increasing year by year, today's expectations of life expectanvy is (UK) 79 men, 89 women. Every year it goes up a year so to answer your question, 70 would now be considered old, at least by us old ones.....................
