i recieved a fifty cent raise about 4 months ago and all the papers were signed and approve for it and i was recieving it until last week. they gave me a nickel duction. (i know its only a nickel but it does adds up) but is it illegal to do and if it is, where can i find proof to show my boss that the company can't legally do this to me and other co-workers.

Your employer can raise, lower or freeze your wages anytime, but it is up to you to decide if you wish to keep working for them after doing so.

If the papers were a contract, you can take it to a labor board or attorney. If they were not a binding contract, you probably have no recourse.

If it is a written or verbally 'understood' agreement.....
he must pay you what is in the agreement.

Which it obviously is because you will have your
former paychecks to prove it.

contact your local Department of Labor.
