I have heard of Rice Hope Plantation. I remember some sort of ghost story. I heard it on the Travel Channel I think.

A girl who's mother got married but the father didn't want to raise her so she got sent to a boarding school where she got in trouble and was sent to sow, but she wanted to be out side with her turtle. She got caught and was put in a grave yard for a night and got traumatized and died of old age. Away form her beloved mansion.
