A good length ball is one that leaves the batsman with indecision as to whether to play a front foot shot or a back foot shot. An overpitched ball is a slightly fuller ball that the batsman is able to drive with ease. The term can also be applied to a full toss, when a yorker (aimed at the batsman's toes) is bowled too full.

One which is too high to hit the stumps - it's pitched too high.
If it never touches the ground, it's called a 'full toss'.
