Ok, you know the Ouija Boards that come from Toys R Us? And yes, they sell them there. Do they really work?

Ouija board

Bearing a name said to be derived from the French and German words for “yes,” the Ouija board is simply a flat, smooth board bearing the letters of the alphabet, numbers, and often the words “Yes,” “No,” “Maybe,” and “Goodbye.” A hand-sized, heart-shaped device perched upon three short legs, each of which has a pad or wheel to enable the instrument to slide freely across the board, is known as the planchette. This is used as a pointer, the tapered end of the heart shape indicating letters on the board.
One or more operators sit around the board, each lightly resting fingers upon the top of the planchette. It is said that spirits or other entities cause the planchette to move about the board, spelling out messages and answers to questions posed by the operators. (This process is a form of “dactylomancy,” or divination by means of finger motions.)
Actually, the movement is due to the ideomotor effect and this can be shown by the fact that when the operator is properly blindfolded, only gibberish is produced.

I watched some kids play with one from there and it worked fine.
I know people get all up in arms about such subjects, but for me there is good and there is evil. I am not sure where theOuija board fits in, but I find it reassuring if there are spirits out there that can be contacted, evil or not, because it means this short life is not all there is. I don't know if it is real or imaginary, but it was interesting just the same. So...the answer is "yes", they work fine. I think it matters more who is playing than where the Ouija board comes from.

No. And I'm a pagan.

The Ouija board depends entirely upon the people using it NOT pushing towards their desires - and that's just not going to happen.

If you're looking for a way to gain insight into the future and the present, try tarot cards (Edith Grey's book is excellent) or the Druid Animal Oracle.

Yes they do work but use caution. Always protect yourselves and those who are playing with prayer. Always ask for the highest entities. Be prepared for who you might get and don't ever believe everything they say. They tend to be very mischievious and not very truthful. Also never ask to prove that they are there or you might just get a plate thrown across the room. Go head an play and have fun but always be careful!

I think they do work but I do not think you can get any reliable information from them. I believe that you get responses from spirits and demons trying to deceive you.

I played the OB with my brother several times, and we always commented on how the planchette would move strongly when we barely touched it.

He did admit that he moved it sometimes but for the most part he didn't. We tried to ask it what the lotto numbers were going to be. We played the numbers and unfortunately we aren't millionaires.
