I took 6 videos from the library. Im a scaredy cat, and I hate to see dead people or corpses or organs or skulls. Ive seen the movie and hid my eyes some momemnts. I took out Eve, the Host, Darkness Falls, and 3 others.

When The X-Files first came on the air I was about 3, and I would NOT watch it untill i was about 11, it scared me. I saw the movie when I was 11 and fell in love with the show, now I own every season on DVD. So yes it can be a little scary I guess. If you scare easily I would suggest not watching The Host, it still kinda creeps me out. ^_^

I absolutely love "The X-Files" I like them scary because they are so strange they are not so real seeming. Eve was real creepy, though. And the ones with Toombs. I prefer the independent episodes not the whole drawn out conspiracy stuff. The last few years were really hard to follow sometimes. My niece and nephew went to high school for a bit with Gillian Anderson who wanted to be an actress way back then.

If you don't like those kinds of things, then X files probably isn't a good choice for you movie-wise. There are a lot of corpses and such. Plus, in the later seasons, when their special effects improve, they really put them to good use. As for me, I love it and don't find it scary one bit. But that's just my opinion. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are wonderful actors and I love to watch the show just to see them in action, but I also love all the paranormal stuff that they stick in there. I think it's the best show ever!

It can be tense and dramatic but it's more intriguing than scary.
They don't show that much and most of the scariness comes from what they leave to your imagination.

x-files is about two F.B.I. agents who explore differt case's about ufo abuctions strange cases of murder,not scary ghosts ,paranormal and strange ocurrances. Some shows are mature themes with some gross stuff.

if you don't like politics, phenomena, action, and things like that, you won't really like x- files, but these episodes you picked are really good and to me their not scary.
