I have to know a person very well...or have a good sense about them before I will trust them.
In this realm....I am far more suspicious than in "real life". It's a bit sad, really.

That's a GREAT question. I'm a Social Worker (recently quit) and find it difficult to trust anyone. It comes down to recognizing danger signs in someone and listening to your heart. Then, one has to realize that there MUST be some good people out there and look for signs of goodness.

Nothing. I give people the benefit of the doubt, but it takes a lot for me to completely trust someone.

Personally, you have to give everyone the benefit of a doubt that they are trustworthy. But, you keep an open mind about said person and then, after getting to know them or their ways, judge to what you think about them. Sometimes we are wrong when we think we know a person and realize that we did not know them at all. So, I would always keep an open mind about them and continue on with my life.

The way they act their actions and sometimes the way they talk may be the reason. Sometimes you just feel to trust someone because you feel something an emotion that tells you to do it. It may sound like crazy talk but is that something that tells you she's crazy but she's saying the hard cold truth.

There are very few people that I truly and totally trust. Everyone has secrets and everyone has their own agendas and try to figure how to benefit from them.

I have a fairly "enhanced" intuition; capable of reading people with incredible accuracy, but I have always extended people the "benefit of the doubt" where trust was concerned.....until they proved otherwise....
