Don't just say ghosts please...After watching Earth story..My speculation is that they may be fire born entities and refugees from Venus or Mars.

From what you are saying, it sounds like demons pretending to be something more palatable in order to lead people away from the truth. Elemental creatures like you are describing are mythological, and most people have recognized this ever since the discovery of the atom. Nature is not comprised of the "elements" of air, water, fire, and earth, but of elementary particles composing atoms. Elemental creatures like djinni, efreeti, nymphs, neieads, dryads, simply do not exist, and are not any more valid than the "elements" from which they are derived. They are folklore. If you want to know what they are from the standpoint of folklore, Djinni (also spelled Genie), were elementals of air, could cast spells, grant wishes, etc. Someone may be using that same name to describe something more modern, but no less folklore.

Djins are creatures made of fire that cohabit our world but are
invisible. They can be mischievous but can sometimes be seen by those who have prayed and fasted enough. Sorry to say they are not extra-terrestrial but firmly rooted pn Earth and definitely home-grown.
