Jimi Hendrix or Jimmy Page?!

That's a tough question. I've been playing guitar for over 40 years, and I had the chance to see Hendrix perform live twice.
I never got to see Page, unfortunately...
I think they are both icons on the guitar. Their styles are different.
Hendrix incorporated jazz into his work; Page was just innovative in his own way.
I swear, I just could not pick one or the other as being "best."

Jimi Hendrix was the best guitarist ever, there isn't anyone to match him nor ever has been. Ask the cream of all guitarists who they think is the best and they will all say Jimi...We all have favourites and styles but if you like his music or not, he was the BEST....

this question is ludicrous. Like it's a competition or something.
I'd like to point out that Hendrix had to come to the UK before he was discovered. The yanks couldn't make head or tail of him.
Music is an ART FORM so it is idiotic to compare 2 artists.
However Jimi Hendrix was a genius, there is no doubt.
