Speak for yourself Scotty. I don't know a single Scot who doesn't long for total devolution from England (and I know MANY). I USED to be a Unionist but no longer, not now that I know the hatred with which Scots hold the English and the billions English tax payers fund Scotland with for no return whatsoever. I'd love to see total devolution and to close the border. Concerning your American question I think most Brits were proud to be allied with the US, but increasingly Brits are uncomfortable with this relationship and more seek independence as time goes on.

English ruled Scotland for years and still do, they kept Scottish slaves, told them to this and that, and were basicallly enslavedm even women used to be raped God knows what happened during them days, and u LIKE the Brits and r proud? its attitude like that which made the English rule u in da first place, u shud br proud of ur roots, ur ancestry, not another heritage which ruled u lol, unless of course ur protestant of English ancestry, and by da way just cuz England (saxons) conqered rest of Briton dnt mean those nations were weak, its just the rest of Britons aintr conqueres, dey dnt kill innocent ppl for their gain, if dey knew they were being invaded they wud have certainly put big fight, and also the rest of Brits were also outnumbders, but only Country to Kick English were the Irish, respect to u. peace Celtics."
