It is normal.. just wash yourself externally but don't douche, you will not only wash out the extra blood but good bacteria as well making yourself prone to yeast infections. Your body was created to cleanse it's self without you doing anything extra.

My guess would be it's just some residual blood left up in there. Clean yourself really well with a mild soap. If that doesn't help, and if you have any other symptoms of an infection (unusual discharge, excessive itching, etc) you might have some sort of infection. Often those kinds of things will go away on their own in a few days, but if they don't you should go to the doctor.

Prior to , during and after your period your urine will have a destinctive smell which disappears soon after your period is gone, 2 or 3 days, and reappears when you're ovulating mid cycle. It's harmless and natural and nothing at all to worry about.

A smelly crotch could be a sign of bacterial infection. I'm assuming you wash the externals? Douching is old-fashioned & not recommended.
