white people lack of logic is astounding when it comes to African history.
For example. You can not get a white person to accept that Egypt was built by Africans, despite the fact that Egypt is IN Africa.
I could give tons more. They dont believe that West Africans were sailing the globe before columbus, despite the fact that columbus himself practically says so in his jounrals.
and so on.

Odd that you should say that because I know more black history than the vast majority of black Americans, so I could just as easily ask, and more to the point, why does the black man dumb down when it comes to Black History? Most young people think themselves a scholar if they know of MC Hammer. If black kids don't think GW Carver is relevant as a black scientist, then why should anyone? Maybe there is no black or white history; we are entwined, so maybe it's just history. Please don't join the ranks of those who provoke.

None of the white men in my house consider themselves to be more intelligent or superior in any way to anyone else...I can't imaging what anyone told you about me and my sons.
I should hope that my sons know better than to place themselves above anyone for any reason! They wouldn't be very devoted Christians to act so self-righteous nor would I be proud of them for judging any group of people.
I am sorry that some "man" has given you this negative impression, but I assure you that he isn't related to me. You are all my brothers and sisters in Christ. God bless you all.

A couple of points, if I may:
You begin your question with a conditional clause, "If the white man..."
The answer then, must depend upon the condition being true.
You ask your question about "the white man." Are you inquiring about one white man in particular, or are you assuming that all white men think in exactly the same way?

Maybe cause it's black history and a lot of white people aren't interested in it. It's sad, but truth isn't always pretty. More people should be willing to learn others' history.

in all honesty, if it wasnt for whites in the 60s there wouldnt be any black history month. remember all the organizations for blacks were all started by whites as a way to help blacks.
some say it actually hurt them more, others say it helped them, it depends on the person.

Your question is quite ambiguous. Not ALL white men feel that way. I know many people 'of color' (those of black, Asian, Hispanic back ground) who are intellectually superior to me.
