The tallest male giraffe measured stood 19 ft 3 in (5.88 meters) tall
The tallest female giraffe measured stood 16 ft10 in (5.17m)

Did you know?
•The Giraffe is the tallest land animal and the tallest living mammal.
• Despite its long neck, the giraffe has only seven vertebrae, exactly the same number as man and most other mammals.
• Giraffes have a small hump on their backs and they have a spotted pattern similar to that of a leopard. So the people thought the giraffe was a cross between a camel and a leopard, a mistake immortalized in the giraffe's scientific name of Giraffa camelopardalis.

RE:
what is the height of the tallest giraffe ever measured?

Around 19 feet (5.85 m). I've found two sources mentioning slightly different height.

1) The tallest specimen ever recorded was a 5.8 METRE male named George, who was received at Chester Zoo, UK, in 1959. George was originally from Kenya. On average, mature giraffe males grow to a height of around 5.5m.

2) The record-sized bull was 5.87 METRE (19.2 FEET) tall and weighed approximately 2,000 kg (4,400 lbs.).

Both records are for the males then. Female giraffes are generally slightly shorter and weigh less than the males do.
