1. Well, all books are books. Text books, non-fiction, manuals... Book is a term describing the physical object. Novel would describe what's contained within, so a novel would describe a work of fiction I guess.

2. I have no idea! Maybe over the age of average life expectancy? I think old age is just a term used to describe dying with no other reason other than because you are old. I don't think that happens much in younger people. Maybe it means when you're old enough for people to be bothered looking for a better reason, they just write it off as old age...

3. I'm thinking no.
