I think every circumstance is different.

What if the mother is having an ectopic pregnancy? Or if having the baby means the mother will lose her life? What if the baby has major deformaties and/or health problems? What if the mother was raped by either a stranger or family member? What if the woman is 13, had no sex education (happens more often than you think) and gets pregnant? Her family abandons her, the father abandons her, she's not financially stable and has no other option. ADOPTION is not the best option. Pro-Lifers say give the child up for adoption but obviously not every child gets adopted, hence the thousands if not millions of children cycling through foster homes. And there is about a 98% chance that NO ONE will want to adopt a deformed, sick baby. Sad but true.
What if you already have a child and you find out the baby you are pregnant with will have a major disability or health problem? Is it fair to give birth to the child, only to have it live a life of misery (and it would if it has serious health problems) and for your first child to be put on the back burner because this sick child needs more attention?

So I definitely think every situation is different. It's wrong when skanky women use abortion as a form of birth control.

I think Pro-Lifers need to look at the big picture. They are so judgmental, but are they going to be the ones paying the poor rape victims hospital bills? Her therapy bills, her housing and food bills? NO! So why do *they* get to make the decision on what's right and what's wrong for every woman?

Are they going to be raising the baby with health problems? Paying the medical bills when it's turned down for insurance? Giving up their entire life because this severely sick child can barely breath, think, eat on its own? Why purposely make someone have a life of misery (which it would be) to satisfy some judgmental pro-lifer who until they are faced with something like this, will never fully understand what they are proclaiming is right or wrong.

How is it murder? A fetus is not a living, breathing human being yet. That is the truth no matter what people say and if it were a baby then they would not refer to it as a fetus.

I am for abortion and i think every woman has the right to choose. Abortion is 100% legal so why even try to raise kane about it?

I have not had an abortion but if i wanted to i would because:
My body
My Sexuality
My Uterus
My Vagina
My Morals
My Life
My Choice
Not Yours

I think that people that are in the war and kill people are murderers but you might would say that they aren't but it is true. Someone tell me how a soldier can walk up to a kid and slit their throat for no good reason and then claim it isn't murder?
That is murder whereas abortion is just another medical procedure.

I think that if you have sex then you should take on the responsibility that goes with it. I have many friends that have had abortions. I am not totally against it, but adoption is better.

I think that the only abortions that are for the best is if the person was raped and got pregnant.

I had a friend who was raped in the parking lot of a mall and was impregnated by the man. She decided to have the baby. She told me that every day, every time she looked at the baby she reminded her the man and what had happened.

I was always pro choice, but after having my baby I don’t think that abortion should be practiced except in extreme circumstances which do not include a irresponsible woman getting pregnant. If you think of aborting please take a look at this site http://www.thornthreads.homestead.com/abortion.html I think it will help you make the right decision. Babies are precious and should be cherished, not killed.

You are making a very wise decision by keeping your baby. Probably the most imprtant one you will ever make. I have friends that have had abortions years ago and to this day they feel guilt, sadness, and grief beyond measure. I wish people who are Pro-Choice could see a real abortion, where they literally rip the baby apart. That is never shown in the media. As a nurse I have dealt with many situations. I don't think it is murder, I know it is murder.

well i used to think it was murder also, until i needed to get one (frown). it was a very emotional experience that i will never forget, and am reminded of it everytime i look at my 2 kids. i got pregnant when my son was 3 and my daughter was 5mo, and hubby made the decision that that's what "we" were gonna do. yes i know alot of ppl are gonna say he can't make that decision for you but he did, and i guess i went along with it. it was horrible and i can't believe that some ppl do it more than once after knowing what they do to you...................

Your going to get soooo many mixed answers on this one because its such a hot topic on if its right or wrong.. I personally believe its wrong ... I would much rather give my child up for adoption then just throwing her away... I would feel so guilty all my life knowing that I had thrown away a chance for someone to become someone and make someone of themselves...

It is murder. People that have them are murderers.

I personally think someone should not get an abortion unless it is going to result in the mother dying if she has the baby. Everyone has there own opinions on abortion and I respect everyone else's opinions but nobody can change my opinion on it.
