are you conserving energy? trying to cut back on water bills? trying to save some water & soap? are you having a shortage in underpants department? no time to wash or very busy making ends meet? i could understand if you wash it every night once you get in so you can have it fresh the next day. maybe that is what you do.
however, its your body and your booty, if you can handle your "funk", "dirt" and whatever comes out of it, hope you can stand the thought....

I agree with your mate! Best to leave them on until they have to be soaked free from your body. Better still, might I suggest that you just leave off the underpants entirely.

Underwear should be changed daily after bathing. For good hygiene alone. Your mate is wrong. As are you. Just being honest.

Keep it on for longer i guess, take a bath and shower with it and wash it at the same time as you do it, or as the others said, flip them over.

It is too often. You can turn them inside out, turn them around, spray it with air freshener, etc...
Don't waste water washing clothes too often.
