I've been going out with a guy for a couple of weeks now, having known him for about a year. I really, really like him and I know he feels the same about me. Valentine's Day is coming up and I am stuck. I am not a fan of V Day, believing it to be complete commercial bulls**t. But I have this feeling that he will get me something and I don't want to not have anything in return. What do I do???? Is there anything that is thoughtful rather than expensive that I can do for him, which is appropriate for the length of time we have been going out? (We are in our early-mid 20s by the way)

As a female, you have access to the cheapest Valentine's present of all. This is also something that will clue him into something that he can buy for you that he will enjoy. Merely mention that, although you have a supply of bras and undies, you just don't feel very sexy in them. Invite him to Viccy's Secret with you to buy you some lingerie that he finds exciting. Trust me - he will pop with excitement.

Something handmade by you would be very thoughtful. Do a search for craft sites online to get ideas and instructions on things to make.

Maybe buy him a book and/or magazines about something he's interested in.
Good luck!
