7 years ago. I beat the crap out of my roommate. Went to jail for 2 weeks without a conviction. Charges were stayed and I walked. He actually testified on my behalf as a character witness. We still live together and what's past is past. No-one was in the right or wrong. We were both plastered. Neither one us know to this day what it was all about nor do we care. We're still best friends, real tight.

A few years ago. I was in the right, but chose not to wail on the guy, just because I didn't want to lose my job.
Several years before that, I gave a lowlife and "education" after he pulled a very dangerous stunt on my, my wife and child with his vehicle. Funny, he was the nephew of the local sheriff. There was never any repercussion about it, either.......
