What is the distance between Mumbai station and Andheri east is there is any public transport availaible. What is the general taxi fare between these two places.

If you are not travelling in the peak hours ,and if you are having some important appointment, please take the train route It will be about 40 minutes travel and the fare is the lowest.If you have a little more time and money opt for the taxi .It can cost you around 150 Rs.The last choice shall be BEST buses.To travel by bus you must have a fairly good knowelege about their routs.

Just take a taxi and chill out til andheri east comes. Pls never go in bus its crowded most of the times and the taxi fare would be 250 to 300 without traffic and the distance between Mumbai Station to Andheri East is approx one hour i.e around 75 to 80 Kilometers.

The distance in train is less than half an hour by Electric train which is the easisiest and best.Next is Taxi.Anywhere you can take the help of police,to hir Taxi or to varify Taxi fare.(Which I belive should be less than Rs.50 ($1 app)

ALL are best depending on your travel,i think its about 20 to 25 kilometers,taxi fare is around 250 to 300inr.

It is best to take taxi it will cost you Rs 250-300.
