This is built into Windows. It is not harmful, and, if you got rid of it, you would have one heck of a problem :) When this happens, just make sure you click send report on the error report window, and let Microsoft do the rest. This isn't a major issue, it happens with me every now and then. Your computer should continue running normally.

Hope that helps!

Dr. Watson for Windows is a program error debugger that gathers information about your computer when an error (or user-mode fault) occurs with a program. Technical support groups can use the information that Dr. Watson obtains and logs to diagnose a program error. When an error is detected, Dr. Watson creates a text file (Drwtsn32.log) that can be delivered to support personnel by the method they prefer. You also have the option of creating a crash dump file, which is a binary file that a programmer can load into a debugger.

rWatson is a program that originated in Windows 3.x for finding software bugs and minor problems with Windows. In Windows XP it now provides a critical role in finding problems in software to submit to Microsoft

It basically sends information off to microsoft if you encounter an error

You can't really get rid of it, Dr. Watson is part of Windows.. It's meant to log errors (like a program freeze) and something was bad enough to make Dr. W freeze too..

When a program error occurs in Windows, the system searches for a program error handler. A program error handler deals with errors as they arise during the running of a program.

dr watson is a legit program, but acebot is behind it. this web site will help you kill it. http://www.thenerdnetwork.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3086

I tells you just about everything you need to know and how to destroy acebot. It is a slippery little devil of a program that is hard to get to finnaly die, but with how that site has you delete it will kill that virus.
