What is the deal with all the stories about child molestors in the past year or so?

Has anybody noticed this besides me?
I mean, my god, I am sure they are out there, but does it not seem that all our news media focuses on nowadays is Iraq and child molestors?
Every night they are talking about some new "sex offenders" and "child molestors" and "pedophiles". and some girl being kidnapped somewhere.
I have become afraid to even look at a little girl when I go out in public for fear that I maybe accused of wanting to molest her or something!

Well all I can say is that it's a problem when it's being on the news a lot. A child molestor molests 100+ children before their even caught. There was a show on called "preditor", and they all had dumb excusses.
