Use straight vinegar in a spray bottle or on a scrubbie. You won't believe how it will take it off! It's all I use.

I don't know about the calcium deposits but I do know if you take a little bit of shampoo or bath/shower soap/gel and put it on a washcloth and wet it, it works wonders! (better than any commencial cleaner can with lots of scrubbing) for the soap scum. CLR works on some things, but you have to do alot of work to make it work. I've found out the stuff called Iron Out works ALOT better.....its a powder that you mix with water and cleans calcium/rust stains really well. Try the soap first! (it's funny, the same thing that causes the soap scum, cleans it!)

I know this sounds crazy but try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.. I'm not positive it will work but those things are AMAZING. I use them to clean everything. Somethings I scrub and scrub and scrub with some chemical cleaner on a sponge and then I use a magic eraser with or without any cleaner and it comes right off. I love them!

Try Kaboom you can get it from Wal-Mart or Target. But leave it on for awhile. IT worked wonder in the bathroom of my house. Also I used the hole bottle just put it on really thick. You will need to scrub hard. It smells good too.

Try mixing some hydrogen peroxide and clorox and then on top of that use Soft scrub and a sponge that has an abraiser on one side. The peroxide if you let it sit long enough will eat away most of the junk. This should work for you. Remember to keep it somewhat ventilated too. :)
