You could write about "mob-mentality" and "scare tactics"-how whole towns were lead around by their noses.

Or you could write about Samuel Sewell, who was a judge in the trails, and the only one to publically apologize for all the injustices.

You could talk about the history of the trials themselves, in other words try to make sence in your own words of what happened.

You might explore what may have been the cause. Could have been ergot poisoning, since even a dog was hung as a witch for odd behavior. Or it could have been a pair of bored teenagers looking for attention. Or you could explore the lives of the ones who may actually have been witches, Tituba, Bridget Bishop and Sarah Good.
